Cases In Point
Business planning and membership assessment for The Alban Institute
The Alban Institute focuses on strengthening leadership and congregations by developing research-based resources that advance congregational-based practices. The Alban Institute engaged TCC to conduct a business planning process for its consulting practice to enhance its marketing, pricing, and staffing structures. In a separate project, TCC was also retained to study the role of Alban's membership program in the life of congregational leaders. TCC Group has continued to work with Alban in implementing its business plan and strengthening its consulting practice.
Strategic Plan for Friends of Hudson River Park
Friends of Hudson River Park contracted with TCC Group to facilitate a strategic planning process that resulted in a roadmap for transitioning from an advocacy organization to a long-term community institution.
Evaluation of NPower Services
TCC was engaged by NPower to conduct a three year field-level study to document the provision of technology assistance to nonprofits; identify the strategies used to measure nonprofit's readiness for such a assistance; better understand best practices relative to the service delivery strategies employed by providers; as well as to measure nonprofit outcomes in terms of organizational effectiveness and mission achievement.
Pre-business planning assessment of the USO
The USO is a private, nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide morale, welfare and recreation-type services to US troops. TCC Group was asked to do a pre-business planning assessment of the USO's programs globally to help the organization understand the needs of their key constituencies.
