Cases In Point
- The American Red Cross engaged TCC Group to perform an independent and objective assessment of the American Red Cross International Service Department.
- TCC conducted a strategic planning process for Maryknoll Lay Missioners (MLM), an organization that sends committed individuals throughout the world to live and work with the poor, responding to basic needs. MLM was experiencing major changes and TCC helped guide organizational leaders to understand needed changes and then manage the change process. TCC has remained engaged with the organization over several years, being brought in to help facilitate various aspects of the strategic plan in a now-thriving organization with a balanced budget.
- TCC Group worked with an international team of researchers convened by the Annenberg School of Communication at the University of Pennsylvania to conduct a stakeholder analysis of IFAI, the federal appeals organization for freedom of information in Mexico. The firm conducted interviews and developed a survey that looked at the various groups with an interest in IFAI and also serves as the focal point for compiling a broader report on IFAI and how it is functioning as a model for promoting freedom of information in the broader civil society of Mexico. The project ended with a presentation of findings to a broad group of stakeholders at a conference hosted by the Annenberg School for Communication.
- For the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), a unique body concerned with advancing the agricultural economies of the world's poorer countries through research, TCC Group took on a variety of assignments beginning with an assessment of the relationship with a primary funder and continuing with an assessment of name recognition and outreach mechanisms and concluding with individualized work with the research centers on branding and social enterprise.
- TCC Group was engaged to provide an operational and structural review of the McKnight Foundation Collaborative Crop Research Program (CCRP), which targets food security in developing countries. TCC reviewed the operating and governance structure of CCRP and made recommendations regarding the most effective and efficient way to administer and manage the program.
