TCC has the unique skills necessary to assist international NGOs in strengthening their capacity to deliver high impact services and develop sustainable operations. TCC is able to meld its deep knowledge of how effective nonprofits, philanthropies and corporate social responsibility programs work with substantive expertise working in the international arena. TCC staff have worked in the field and in headquarters of international organizations in Latin America, Africa, Asia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and have on the ground experience in creating and managing international initiatives, responding to disasters, working across borders, and negotiating complex program agreements. Our service offerings are similar to those offered for domestic organizations, but modified to the unique challenges of international organizations, and drawing on our understanding of the environment in which NGOs and international programs operate.

Services for Non-governmental Organizations

We assist in establishing and supporting intermediary organizations whose purpose is to nurture and strengthen NGOs in developing countries. Our services include evaluation, structural alignment and managing organizational change.

We review and assess the current status of technical assistance to, and capacity building for NGOs. We work with donor agencies to develop viable strategies to put NGOs on more stable financial and administrative footing.

TCC Group assists with strategic planning for private voluntary organizations, NGOs and funders to sharpen focus, improve results and promote growth.

Services for Corporations and Private Funders

TCC Group develops initiatives for global corporations expanding their overseas programs to address critical business-related issues. We focus on developing effective working relationships with the host public sector and strong partnerships with NGOs.

We assess the current programs of private foundations to determine effectiveness and future involvement. This includes impact assessment, exit strategies and recommendations for new strategies.

We advise business groups on new strategies and opportunities to improve societal functioning at the national, regional, and community levels.

We conduct special seminars for companies and foundations on aspects of International Corporate Citizenship, including strategy, partnership development and impact measurement.

The project ended with a presentation of findings to a broad group of stakeholders at a conference hosted by the Annenberg School for Communication.

  • TCC Group was engaged to provide an operational and structural review of the McKnight Foundation Collaborative Crop Research Program (CCRP), which targets food security in developing countries.
