Capacity Building
The firm has assisted a variety of funders in planning, implementing, and evaluating capacity building initiatives. Increasingly, TCC is designing and managing long-term capacity building initiatives for funders to strengthen the performance of a cohort of grantees.
Our capacity-building services include:
Organizational assessment of grantees
Our Core Capacity Assessment Tool (CCAT) allows funders to analyze their grantees’ strengths and provide recommendations for future growth and change. It can be administered to a cohort of nonprofits as a tool for determining the need for long-term capacity-building services or as a grantee benefit.
Design and/or management of capacity-building initiatives
We help funders plan and implement initiatives that direct support to a cohort of organizations over a defined time period to address specific capacity-building needs. We can design and coordinate the initiative, provide “case management” services to grantees, monitor and maintain quality control, and communicate about the initiative to internal and external audiences.
Evaluation of capacity-building initiatives
We help funders evaluate their capacity-building efforts, both long and short-term, by providing a critical combination of program evaluation and organizational assessment. To learn more about our evaluation services, please click here.
