Her meticulous eye for detail means clients, grantees, and board members can be confident in the consistency and accuracy of their grant program management. She is skilled at designing and implementing custom platforms to improve the efficiency of the Online Grantee Portal and streamlines grantee information for nonprofit and foundation clients. Wendy also works with multiple corporate clients, managing their backend administrative needs. Reliable, responsive, and attentive, Wendy adapts and evolves to proactively anticipate client needs and provide quick, accurate, and timely information. Fluent in Spanish and an active international volunteer, Wendy became a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Phlebotomist, and EKG technician to expand her contribution to diverse communities. She has spent time in South Africa helping children with HIV, in Spain helping children with developmental disabilities, and in the Dominican Republic helping children with cancer. At home, she volunteers with New York Cares facilitating an art program for homeless kids. At TCC Group: Ono Pharma Foundation: Managing multiple programs for the Foundation, Wendy worked closely with the management and legal teams to develop a custom Fluxx grants management system to ensure efficient and accurate logistics and quality control over their giving portfolio. She has been instrumental in the development and management of the Ono Pharma Breakthrough Science Initiative Awards Program to fund scientific researchers who seek discoveries and solutions for high impact science. Responsible for operationalizing and managing the awards program from start to finish, Wendy reviews institution eligibility, monitors each awards program proposal cycle, conducts client and board meetings, and provides detailed reporting to the Foundation board. ascena retail group, inc.: Wendy leads the administrative management of the organization’s signature annual women’s leadership awards program—the Roslyn S. Jaffe Awards. She built and continually optimizes the Fluxx grants management system used for registration, nominations, reviewing, and reporting, ensuring transparent, up-to-date information is readily available to the client and staff at every stage of the program. Wendy also manages the review committee, the application process, and eligibility classifications. Identifying a need for more comprehensive information from applicants, Wendy led the development of a multi-layered form in the online grants portal that enriched the information the review team received and deepened opportunities for recognition and impact. ViiV Healthcare: With multiple programs under the ViiV giving portfolio, Wendy manages the Fluxx grants management system for the organization, producing efficient reporting and custom supportive evaluation for all six grants programs. She also manages the backend administration of payments and contracts, application development and implementation, reporting, and site troubleshooting. Wendy is a trusted partner to project leaders and staff, helping to operationalize the day-to-day management, reporting, and evaluative capacity of the portfolio. Before TCC Group: Bay & Paul Foundations: Wendy led the Foundations’ grant management transition from paper-based to a digital system. With an opportunity to build a platform from scratch and evolve it over several years to continually meet the needs of the organization, she garnered her expertise in grants systems, including online portal management. She managed multiple program areas for the Foundation including Pre-K Transformative Learning Practices, Arts & Humanities, Support for Indigenous Communities, Research & Initiatives for Ecosystem Integrity, and The Educational Applications of Cultural Collections program. In addition to program management, she also developed, maintained, and executed standard terms and conditions for award agreements.
