She is dedicated to strengthening the systems and relationships that make effective philanthropy possible, guiding clients and grantees through funding lifecycles with clarity and care. With a background in education policy research, Elana is skilled at spotting systemic inefficiencies and opportunities to improve processes. At the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago, she supported the full allocation lifecycle for three funding portfolios totaling more than $90 million annually and oversaw nine grant pools totaling an additional $4 million. She also helped redesign board-facing end-of-year materials, transforming investment data into clear, accessible summaries that highlighted impact.
