Advancing social impact initiatives through the lens of philanthropy and nonprofit strategy

“What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.” ― Henry David Thoreau

Megan’s authentic and discerning approach, matched with her expertise in nonprofit strategy, capacity building, and philanthropy, drives solutions-oriented results. Her experience working at the intersection of nonprofits, philanthropies, and companies allows her to bring a unique, cross-sector viewpoint to TCC Group.

In her role, Megan is responsible for grants management and the systems used to advance multiple social impact initiatives. Specializing in program design and implementation, research, data analysis, and communications, her perception and empathy allow for the creation of thoughtful and tailored solutions for clients. She is currently supporting ViiV Healthcare in its Positive Action Community Grants Initiative, which awards general operating project support and sponsorship to nonprofits with programs focusing on HIV/AIDS work within their local communities.

Megan started her career in direct service nonprofit arts organizations, including performing arts centers and museums. After supporting these nonprofits through various capacity-building initiatives, and seeing their impact, she shifted to working in service organizations. Megan comes to TCC Group from Compass Pro Bono, an organization that works to form lasting ties between local nonprofits and business professionals to empower communities. She was responsible for multiple consulting program initiatives including dozens of nonprofits and hundreds of volunteers annually, recruited and selected nonprofit clients and volunteer consultants, and developed partnerships to support their mission.

Passionate about philanthropy in her local community, Megan has served as a volunteer, participating on grant review panels, providing support on nonprofit strategy, and as a member of the Emerging Leaders Circle of the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance. Using her background in the performing arts, she produced dance performances and films with the Drexel University Dance Ensemble, where she was an alumnus.
