“This Is The Time”

At TCC Group, we denounce the recent murders of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Manuel Ellis, Ahmaud Arbery, Tony McDade, and the many instances of police violence. We unequivocally believe that Black Lives Matter, and universally condemn the prevailing systemic racism and oppression that has for centuries perpetuated structural violence and continues to fuel vast societal inequities and injustices.

We stand in solidarity with our Black, Indigenous, and People of Color colleagues, friends, families, and community members who bear the weight and trauma of these injustices and structural violence. Animated by the urgency of this critical moment—and inspired by the call for accountability invoked at yesterday’s memorial to George Floyd: “This is the time!”—TCC Group is compelled to strengthen our resolve and listen with humility and intention alongside others. We will be sharing resources from our peers and clients in the social sector illustrating ways we can uplift community-driven solutions and support the disruption of systemic injustices—tragically apparent in the disproportionate effect of the COVID-19 epidemic. We will be making donations to organizations working for racial justice, and are matching all employee donations 3:1 in support of this fight.

We recognize we don’t have the answers; we are committed to ongoing learning, reflection, and action in our efforts to build positive social change.
