Creating brand marketing and communications strategies to elevate awareness and drive engagement, loyalty, and business growth

“Communication leads to community—that is, to understanding, intimacy, and mutual valuing.”—Rollo May

A passionate leader and communicator, Claire has spent more than two decades developing and operationalizing marketing strategies, building and strengthening brand reputations, designing high-visibility communications programs, and generating business opportunities for significant nonprofit organizations, foundations, and companies.

Through years of experience managing content and creative development, and building audience and distribution channel strategies, Claire has expertise creating multi-faceted marketing campaigns for products and services leading to brand differentiation within a crowded and competitive landscape.

Resourceful and innovative, Claire has identified solutions to improve and safeguard operations, firmly positioning organizations for growth. A dynamic manager, mentor and coach, Claire has led individuals and teams through change, and established new techniques to improve organizational culture.

Throughout her career, Claire has launched successful new programs and services, and spearheaded innovative communications and marketing protocols for Amnesty International USA, JDRF, JDC, Microsoft, Disney/ABC, and many other well-established organizations.

At TCC Group, Claire brings extensive social sector, marketing, and business development expertise along with a natural ability to build and maintain relationships for social impact. Before TCC Group:
  • Amnesty International: Overseeing all fundraising, marketing, communications, digital engagement, and events, Claire devised the organization’s fundraising and marketing plan and secured board approval to invest in a new monthly giving program as a strategic lever to increase long-term revenue growth. In her lead marketing role, Claire developed national marketing campaigns for six program areas that increased national media exposure and included membership-led local community outreach and education initiatives. As a member of the executive leadership team, Claire contributed to the development of firm’s strategic plan, represented the U.S. division on the global management team, and served as the primary point person on a global exchange for sharing fundraising and marketing insights and best practices with colleagues from international offices.
  • JDRF: Through her role in JDRF’s national headquarters, Claire established the organization’s first integrated marketing and communications department. She initiated a major rebranding initiative that repositioned the firm for success and remains in place today.  In addition to leading all marketing and communications, Claire was responsible for community outreach and engagement which required close collaboration with 84 chapters  and a cadre of volunteers nationwide. Her contributions resulted in improved analytics modeling for the firm’s rebranding effort as well as the development of corporate social responsibility and cause marketing campaigns, leading to an annual increase in corporate fundraising from national partners.
