Motivated by a commitment to advancing equity and economic mobility, she partners with funders and organizations to design strategies that are both data-driven and community-driven. Known for building and sustaining strong relationships across public and private stakeholders, Nirvani helps organizations deploy resources strategically, strengthen organizational capacity, and drive systems-level change at scale. A visionary leader and strategist, Nirvani brings over 20 years of experience advancing social impact through cross-sector partnerships, rigorous evaluation frameworks, and the strategic expansion of evidence-based approaches. Her work often sits at the intersection of emerging technologies and community-centered practice, enabling organizations to make informed decisions, strengthen portfolios, and deliver measurable results. Before joining TCC, Nirvani held senior leadership roles at the Robin Hood Foundation, where she led complex, multi-partner education initiatives aimed at expanding high-quality learning opportunities for low-income students. Her work included serving as Senior Program Officer for the Robin Hood Learning + Technology Fund, a collaboration with the Overdeck Family Foundation and the Siegel Family Endowment, and later as Director of Education and the High-Quality Schools Fund overseeing strategy, investment, and learning across portfolios. Grounded in deep experience in New York City, Nirvani previously served as Chief of Staff at the Fund for Public Schools within the New York City Department of Education and is a proud alumna of the NYC public school system. She brings this place-based understanding to her work nationally, helping organizations translate ambition into sustainable action by fostering collaborative, purpose-driven teams and partnerships focused on lasting social change.
