Is the CCAT Facilitator Certification Program right for you?

You should consider the CCAT Facilitator Training if you are:

  • A nonprofit consultant looking to add a nationally recognized, highly effective tool to your services
  • A capacity-building organization or unit with staff who support nonprofit partner’s organizational development
What does the program entail?

The CCAT Facilitator Certification Program consists of three parts: virtual training webinars, shadowing CCAT interpretation sessions, and conducting a CCAT interpretation session with a nonprofit. Completing the certification process requires an estimated 10-12 hours.

The Certification Program cost is $2,000 per participant. This fee includes the cost of one CCAT assessment for a participating organization, in order to complete certification.

By the end of the program, you will be able to…

  • Understand and explain the Core Capacity Assessment Model and use the CCAT to assess a nonprofit’s organizational capacity;
  • Facilitate an inclusive and focused CCAT interpretation session with nonprofit leaders and board members;
  • Utilize an organization’s CCAT results to build an actionable, data-driven capacity building plan for a nonprofit organization; and
  • Incorporate the CCAT into your consulting or coaching practice with nonprofit organizations.

The CCAT Facilitator Certification Program is designed to provide a theoretical background and a specific model for assessing and building nonprofit capacity. The program does not cover the basics of nonprofit capacity building or change management with nonprofits, and participants are expected to have some experience in the field of nonprofit capacity building.

What Do our Facilitators Say?

” As a capacity-building organization, IAC has been searching for a robust and evidenced-based way to expand our services and increase our impact on the social sector. We identified the CCAT as a promising tool we are incredibly excited to bring to the nonprofits in our community, and support them with valuable data to guide their growth and development.  The tool is such an exciting way to truly help organizations to transform using a structured and data-driven approach“.

-Dr. Nicola Paugh, Inter Agency Committee For Children, Families & The Community

“We have a robust nonprofit capacity building program here, and we look forward to growing it in the future! It wouldn’t have been possible without the facilitator training and certification from TCC. Being a certified facilitator allows me to dive more deeply into assisting organizations in our agency cohort with interpreting their CCAT results and to assist them with incorporating their recommendations into their future planning”.

-Krista Myer, Heart of Missouri United Way
